Humble Manufacturing is an established, growing, precision sheet metal fabrication company seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator at their Burnaby facility, a 10-minute walk from Skytrain. Humble has been in business for over 75 years with a reputation in the industry as providing top quality products with unequaled service, representing businesses across North America in all industries.
Humble Manufacturing is looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Junior Estimator / Programmer & AI Assistant.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable with technology, and interested in helping us improve our processes through programming, automation, and AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with estimating sheet metal fabrication jobs.
- Help prepare quotes, review drawings, and calculate material requirements.
- Assist with CNC programming and production preparation for Amada Laser cutting machines, and Amada turret punch press’s
- Explore and implement AI tools to improve estimating, workflow, and office efficiency.
- Support process improvements and automation projects.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in manufacturing, programming, and AI technology.
- Ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is an asset.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
